From the Whitley Academy
Whitley Academy is a great choice for your child's secondary school education. Both students and parents may find the transition from elementary to secondary education exhilarating, but it may also be disturbing. We are dedicated to doing everything we can to ensure that students are as supported as possible while they are in primary school. If your child will soon be starting at Whitley Academy, we ask that you please take a moment to listen to our collection of podcasts produced by Year 7 pupils on adjusting to life there. The greatest possible start in secondary school is what we aim to provide for students at Whitley Academy. To provide a positive transition focused on student well-being, all students will participate in a nurturing transition programme run by their tutors. As part of the transition programme, we wish to give students the chance to. Feel secure with the daily schedule and expectations and quickly acclimatise to the school environment. You can discover all the details regarding the transitional activities that take place both while children are still in primary school and after they have joined us on this page. We wanted to take a moment to extend a warm welcome to the Whitley Academy neighbourhood. Please watch the films below to get to know the faculty and the school.
