From the St John's Church of England Primary School
In Tunbridge Wells, there is a Voluntary Controlled Church of England school called St. John's Primary School. Our Christian ethos is very strong, and Christian principles are at the core of everything we do. We value the wonderful relationship we have with St. John's Church, our parent congregation, and have strong ties to them. Every child is a person with unique requirements, and we think it is our responsibility to "Nurture the Potential in Everyone." When children leave us, we hope that they will be prepared for secondary school and that we will have given them a solid foundation for life. Along with emphasising the value of freedom and responsibility, we work to develop each student's unique abilities and personalities. We encourage our kids to take advantage of everything that school life has to offer. In November 2017, Ofsted rated our school as "good." We are happy that they gave our school positive ratings in each of the four main inspection categories: student accomplishment, teaching quality, student behaviour and safety, and leadership and management. We won't become complacent though, and we'll keep developing and raising the standard of the resources we provide for our kids so that they find learning appealing. Visit our Ofsted page to view the complete report.
