From the Rutherford School
For students aged 3 to 19 with profound and multiple learning disabilities, Rutherford School is a specialised independent school. Our goal is to give students with extremely special needs who also have a high level of dependency inclusive education. A variety of specialised therapies that address physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and complicated medical needs are supported and managed by the school's holistic approach to learning, which makes it easier for students to study. We created The Rutherford Program, a totally original and customised curriculum. The school has successfully implemented this programme. The school is a component of the Garwood Foundation, a reputable and long-running neighbourhood nonprofit. www.garwoodfoundation.org.uk. We are thrilled to provide a 19–25 provision. The school has been granted registration to teach this age group. The Rutherford Life Skills Centre will be housed in a custom-designed structure, whose blueprints are now being finalised.
