Herzlich willkommen at Rufforth Primary School! We are a little school with only 93 students in 4 classes, but we have a BIG ambition. Children can thrive in every manner at our school, where they can develop into autonomous, self-assured learners. We have high standards for our students, and they are able to live up to and even surpass those goals because they feel safe and appreciated in a family-like environment. Our school is lucky to have a brilliant and committed staff that frequently goes above and beyond for particular students as well as the school as a whole, providing a rich and varied curriculum. We have one of the best pupil to adult ratios in the local area (particularly at Early Years in which there are only 14 children to two adults) and this means that our children are given the very best care and attention. One of the most crucial elements for a young child's wellbeing is a good connection between home and school. For this reason, we collaborate closely as a school community and we warmly welcome the entire family. Your first impression of our offerings will come from this website. The various activities we provide for our kids are also showcased on our publicly accessible Twitter account. Visit https://twitter.com/rufforthschool to take a look. Please feel free to peruse our collection of past weekly school newsletters, which also seeks to give you a true understanding of life at Rufforth Primary. Please call us to set up an informal visit if you are considering Rufforth as your child's primary school. I would be glad to personally show you what a fantastic school we are. We accept students from both inside and beyond the school catchment region.
