I'd like to extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of the staff and governors of Portsdown Primary School and Early Years. I hope the details are useful and that they give you a sense of the joyful, hard-working school that we are. A completely inclusive school serving students from ages 2 to 11, Portsdown Primary School has a 9-seat Communication and Interaction inclusion centre. In February 2015, Ofsted gave our Nursery an Outstanding rating, and in May 2018, it gave the main school a Good rating. Welfare and Early Years were rated to be Outstanding during our assessment in May 2018. We are quite happy with our excellent Ofsted assessment, but we also know that we can do better. The school fosters the highest standards of intellectual, cultural, and moral principles in a caring setting. No of their backgrounds, cultures, religious beliefs, or abilities, all of our children are equally appreciated, supported, and challenged. View our most recent update to our school vision (click on the link below). We firmly think that solid bonds between all parties involved are the foundation of Portsdown's success. Your ideas and opinions are respected, regardless of whether you are a parent, caretaker, child, employee, or an interested part of our community. This webpage is updated as frequently as we can. Please let us know if you notice anything that needs to be changed.
