Being the executive headteacher of the Village Schools Federation, which includes the North Crawley CE, Sherington CE, Stoke Goldington CE, Newton Blossomville CE, St Andrews CE, and Emberton schools, makes me very happy.
Following several years of collaboration with Stoke Goldington CE School, we federated in December 2017.
Since I assumed the position of Head in January 2018, we have welcomed Mrs. M. Younger as our Executive Deputy Headteacher.
One Governing Board member of the Village Schools Federation is passionate about the unusual and distinctive opportunities that tiny village schools, like North Crawley, provide students.
The Governor's passion for local village schools inspired the formation of the federation in order to safeguard their future and maintain opportunities for individualised instruction in small classes with high adult-to-student ratios and an enriched curriculum that uses the local area, the local environment, and the students' experiences and interests in addition to the national curriculum.
I have worked in village schools for the past 12 years as a teacher, deputy, and head. I went to a village school when I was younger, and I am passionate about guiding North Crawley on its path to continued excellence.
On the border of Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire, in the community of North Crawley, is where you'll find North Crawley CE School.
Students in North Crawley are quite content, enjoy going to class, and care about one another and their neighbourhood.
We take pleasure in the Christian ethos and values that guide our daily conduct.
In addition to learning being a delight and teaching being a privilege at North Crawley CE School, one parent said, "This has just been the best start to school life for our daughter, thank you."
