Welcome to Matching Green CE Primary School! Our school is busy but welcoming, and there is always something going on.
This website seeks to provide current information for parents, students, and the larger community while also giving you a sense of the school.
I firmly believe that kids learn in a number of ways, and I think every day's curriculum should provide kids the chance to learn with their heads (academic), their hearts (wellness), and their hands (making/doing).
The lessons the kids will learn will be guided by them and will centre on a certain book or authors.
A topic-based curriculum allows for deeper exploration and comprehension on the part of the students.
We are fortunate to have small class sizes at Matching Green CE Primary School, which allows all staff members to get to know the kids and recognise when they might need extra help.
Our school's core values include teaching students about Christian values and how they apply to daily living.
Parent partnerships are crucial, and at Matching Green, we want to interact with parents in a variety of ways. We offer workshops so that you can learn how your children learn and how you can support them at home. We also invite you to PTA-sponsored events and let your children participate in DEAR activities in the classroom (Drop Everything and Read).
Being the Headteacher at Matching Green makes me really happy, and I am looking forward to spending time with your kids as they go through our school and seeing how much they learn, grow, and achieve.
We sincerely hope you enjoy browsing our website and discover the details you're looking for.
