I'm honoured to serve as the Executive Headteacher of Kemnal Technology College and to return to the institution where my teaching career began.
I will be working with Tanya Cornish, the college's deputy headteacher, and first deputy headteacher Emma Wride, who both joined the college in the past year from another highly successful TKAT school. I have a proven track record as a headteacher over the last 13 years and have led a school to outstanding during this time.
Our pupils are the centre of everything we do.
Our curriculum is centred on the needs of the students, and we want their education to be motivating, stimulating, and difficult.
Our goal is to provide students the tools they need to take charge of their own futures and improve their chances of succeeding in life as a result of their education with us.
Being a member of Kemnal Technology College at this moment is thrilling because starting in September 2019, as the school transitions to co-education, we will be opening our doors to girls for the first time.
The block where the new year 7 cohort will primarily reside once they enrol in our school is scheduled to undergo renovation work.
This is demonstrated by a variety of actions and successes.

The school has gone downhill since the girls started a huge difference in managing pupils behaviour as the girls are more favoured. Bullying not taking seriously and communication is poor.
My children started here in September 2020. From the very first day they experienced bullying. I tried as hard as I could to guide them and ease their worries. We had multiple meetings with the school, the kids had a lot of time off as they suffered with mental health issues as a result of the relentless bullying. But ultimately, the school just couldn't deal with the level of peer-on-peer abuse. What got to us...
