Our school fosters a friendly, loving neighbourhood where each student is respected for who they are as people. We put a lot of effort into creating a safe, joyful environment with high expectations for success. We want Hiltingbury Infant School to be a place where students and adults respect and trust one another. We can give the kids the greatest start possible as an infant school by providing a challenging and engaging curriculum that is grounded on Early Years practise. We think that children learn most effectively when they are engaged in a variety of stimulating and pleasurable activities and are given time to think about what they have learned. Our goal is to assist students develop into lifelong learners who are "successful learners, confident people, and responsible citizens" by building on what they already know and can do. We place a high importance on our home-school connections and collaborate closely with parents and carers. The majority of our students transfer to the Junior School, where we also maintain close ties. A Morning and After School Club is available at both campuses.
