From the The Bridge School
Every student at The Bridge School has an Education and Health Care Plan or a Statement of Special Educational Needs. Children with complicated needs and numerous needs are educated at the school. Children may be diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), or Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) (ASD). Some kids have additional needs, such as hearing loss, visual impairment, and behavioural issues. Typically, students who attend our school need supplemented and customised curriculum possibilities, such as a comprehensive mobility curriculum and a sensory experience curriculum for our more advanced students. The Bridge School bases every aspect of its curriculum delivery on ongoing communication work development so that students can receive their education in a way that is tailored to their needs. We have a strong commitment to assisting kids with the most complicated needs. To ensure that every child is able to realise their full potential, our staff collaborates with parents and carers to create a nurturing and secure learning environment. As part of our daily absorption in the concepts outlined in the Birmingham Curriculum Statement, the faculty and students at The Bridge School actively promote and practise British Values across the curriculum.
