Greetings from Aldridge School. Over 1500 children attend our comprehensive school, which is located close to Aldridge Village's centre. We believe that it is our responsibility to work to meet the needs of every individual student, challenging them to achieve their best, supporting them to become responsible young adults and preparing them for their next steps into the world of work or further education. Being the headteacher of Aldridge School makes me extremely happy and proud. It's a good school, Aldridge School. It is a school that takes pride in its traditions and accomplishments, both of which were made possible by a lot of effort and high standards. In order for our kids to be happy and successful at school and in the wider world outside, we particularly encourage them to be Respectful, Responsible, Resilient, and Ready to Learn. The staff at Aldridge School is committed, talented, and diligent, and they work as a team to deliver great teaching, pastoral care, and support services. Our extensive curriculum is created to satisfy national requirements, be current and engaging, aid students in attaining the highest possible marks in external exams, and provide them the tools they need to succeed in adulthood. I absolutely despise this school. As a current student in this school I've faced bullying throughout my time here and not a single teacher has done anything. A lot of teachers don't seem to know what they are doing either (cough cough miss Miah) if you are thinking of sending your child here, don't. Especially not while Mr. Worth is head teacher
My friend who left the school went through a nightmare with Aldridge school. His only good year was in year 7. He received racial abuse, physical abuse, it was mentioned countless times to teachers and even school governors but had no response. His favourite part of a school day was to leave and go home if he wasn't followed by the bullies,school gave advice to run away from them. But he had 4 years of...
