We now provide the widest selection of programmes in Cumbria as a result of our merger with Barrow Sixth Form College, ranging from professional and technical programmes like BTECs and apprenticeships to a variety of more than 25 A Level subjects and higher education programmes.
In March 2019, Ofsted inspected our college and found that we were a good institution.
We were named Cumbria's top further education provider in the 2017 Golden Apples Awards, and the BBC's North-West Tonight named our Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Centre Cumbria's "Building of the Decade."
The sixth form at Rating Lane has a university-like atmosphere with a strong reputation for academic excellence. It is situated in a green area.
The employers we partner with recognise our Channelside campus' superior technical and vocational facilities as state-of-the-art.
