Our goal at Whitley Lodge Under Fives is to give children a secure, engaging, and loving atmosphere where learning is enjoyable and they can engage in social contact with their classmates.
To offer a top-notch pre-school experience, we collaborate with parents.
The Whitley Lodge Under Fives programme consists of a daily sessional pre-school (also known as Playgroup) and a twice-weekly Toddler group. (Only during terms). Preschool afternoon programmes begin when there is enough demand for spots.
The preschool has four employees who have all had experience dealing with children, and three of them have level three certifications (minimum).
The organisation promotes employee participation in continual training.
The staffing ratio for the sessions is one staff member for every four children under the age of three and one staff person for every eight children above the age of three.
A Level 3 Supervisor and a designated Deputy are present throughout each session.
We frequently have student interns and volunteer workers in the group, but they are not included in the adult-to-child ratios.
The Pre-school is inspected thoroughly and is registered with Ofsted.
