Our goal at Victoria Park Hall Pre School is to prepare children for the next stage of their lives through the development of motor abilities, thinking skills and healthy interactions with their peers.
We are extremely proud that our setting is the first in Rawmarsh to offer Forest School led activities with fully qualified Forest School staff.
All our Early Years practitioners are qualified to at least level 3 in childcare and are supervised by our Deputy Manager who holds Early Years Teacher Status.
At Victoria Park Hall Pre School, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing, stimulating and welcoming environment for all our children.
We have an abundance of natural resources and wildlife on our door step due to our unique location in the local parklands.
We embrace our outdoor areas to maximise learning experiences for our children.

Children attending our Pre-School are well prepared by our experienced team for a smooth transition to Primary School, because we pride ourselves in offering each child independence and choice by integrating social snack time and having access to their own water bottle throughout each session.
We also work closely alongside the local Primary Schools to mirror some aspects of their daily routine to give the children a taste of what big school is all about, such as group-time and a class register.
The Park Hall has undergone major refurbishment and is now the home to our Setting and other community resources.

Our goal is to make a positive difference on young children who come to our Setting.
All of our Early Years Practitioners are fully qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare.
My name is Sarah and I am the Manager here at VPHPS.
I have a many childcare qualifications including a degree in Early Childhood studies.
I have a wealth of skills and knowledge gained from additional training and development opportunities, which enables me to recognise and maximise the learning opportunities with the children.
I have been managing settings in Rotherham and Sheffield for over 12 years, including a busy Forest School Nursery.
I am profoundly passionate about providing high quality, fun and engaging experiences for the children In our setting.
I fully believe in a holistic approach to learning at this young age, developing the children at their own pace through nurturing relationships with caring practitioners.
We will be exploring nature, science and the arts as part of our EYFS curriculum and giving the children some new experiences which will help to support the development of their mathematical understanding, social and emotional wellbeing, as well as their communication and literacy skills.
I am really excited and humbled to be part of the team at Victoria Park Hall preschool, working in partnership with the whole staff team, the children and their families.
