On Royal Avenue, just off Fox Lane, is where The Nursery at Leyland is located. We independently operate the facility, which is a contemporary, single-story nursery, from the Children's Center. It is approved by Ofsted for kids between the ages of 0 and 5. Outside of school hours, we also operate a "active holiday club" for kids ages 4 to 11. We offer a stimulating and engaging curriculum that is tailored to your particular child and keeps them content and happy throughout the break from school. It has all the amenities, toys, and equipment needed for a jam-packed, enjoyable day at the nursery. There are numerous options for outdoor learning in the spacious, enclosed outdoor space. ? ? Through regular attendance at training sessions that are pertinent to our profession, we are dedicated to Continual Professional Development. Each employee must appear for an interview prior to being hired, where they must demonstrate a sufficient level of understanding in all facets of child development as well as a respect for governmental policies and childcare standards. After a positive interview, the Criminal Records Bureau is checked, along with two acceptable references. ?.
Every childcare facility has a responsibility to make sure that every child using its services is safe, healthy, and achieving their full potential.
The Nursery has accepted the Lancashire County Safeguarding Children's Policy in order to support this. When a member of staff has concerns for a child's safety, we will follow this policy's instructions.
