From the Southampton University Early Years Centre
From birth to age five, the Early Years Centre at the University of Southampton offers excellent childcare.
The Early Years Center places the utmost importance on each child's happiness.
We are actively working toward The Curiosity Approach accreditation, and our centre is equipped with a range of natural and real resources for the kids to explore.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is the legal framework under which we work to satisfy the educational, developmental, and care needs of kids from birth to age five.
Development Matters is used in conjunction with the EYFS curriculum.
There are seven areas of learning and development that must influence educational programmes, and each of these areas is crucial and connected to the others.
You can download information about the EYFS from the Department for Education website or speak with your child's keyworker or a member of the management team if you'd like to learn more.
We advocate for the viewpoint that a kid learns most naturally and effectively via play.
