Located just outside Crewkerne, on the boundary of Somerset and Dorset, Perrott Hill is an independent day and boarding prep school for girls and boys ages 3 to 13, housed on a breathtakingly magnificent estate.
We urge all of our students to fully utilise the school's resources because it is a place where inspiration abounds and where passion and energy are in high supply in the classroom, on the playing fields, in music, art, drama, and every other area of our vibrant and varied school life. With all of this activity, the students develop a strong sense of community and belonging as well as a deep appreciation for everything in their immediate environment.
We make sure that our kids have the time and space they need for a complete education, in keeping with the school's mission. We encourage and test the kids while acknowledging that they need direction but also the ability to think independently and grow holistically鈥攑hysically, spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually. This strategy enables us to routinely achieve exceptional academic outcomes and an enviable scholarship record, with many of our students transferring at the age of 13 into some of the top senior schools in the nation.
