We set up visits from the dental nurse, the police, and other professionals as well as outings to the fire station and neighbourhood veterinarians for the kids.
We encourage parents to email us pictures and provide kids the chance to discuss and share experiences with teachers and other kids because we love to hear about the adventures our kids have outside of preschool.
With the kids, we record, acknowledge, and send home WOW moments, asking parents to share similar experiences with us in return.
During circle time, the kids stand up and talk about their WOW moments with their friends.
To help all of the kids develop their knowledge, vocabulary, and fluency through talking and listening so they can become competent communicators, our daily routine and all of our activities are centred around this.
We offer a great outside natural garden with a variety of tools and possibilities that let kids explore the outdoors while building their self-confidence and gross motor abilities.
In order to improve control and precision, we also offer a variety of learning opportunities for the improvement of fine motor skills.
We support all kids in learning how to take care of themselves independently and the value of making wise decisions.
We provide kids a tonne of creative opportunities every day, where they can experiment, get messy, and use objects to communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Children can share their experiences through play and expand their imaginations both on their own and with others by using a variety of role-playing games.
