From the Maytree Nursery School
Maytree Nursery School opened in 1978. The school became a Children鈥檚 Centre in November 2007. We are a local authority (Lambeth) maintained nursery school and offer nursery places for 2 to 4 year olds. Our core service is providing support for families with children from birth up to 5 years old.
As a Children鈥檚 Centre we are able to offer additional services to children and families to improve children鈥檚 life chances in a variety of ways: including, supporting families to be healthy, safe, discover and develop skills and interests, have a love of life, develop a supportive and positive community and be optimistic for the future. We particularly welcome families where children have additional needs. Our partnerships with local providers help us to do this. We run a range of activities from our 2 Children's Centres at Maytree and The Weir Link. Alongside this additional services run at Agnes Riley Gardens.
