So, in order to ensure that our staff teams have the skills and knowledge needed to begin their careers with us, we have built a strong induction programme.
Our staff are selected for their ability to provide warm and consistent care, and for their understanding of the developing physical, emotional and intellectual needs of the children.
The minimal qualifications for staff members are National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) level 3 for room leaders and nursery nurses and NVQ level 2 for nursery nurses.
In order to give our staff access to industry knowledge outside of the nursery, we actively encourage them to enrol in outside training programmes as part of our commitment to their ongoing professional growth.
First aid, health and safety, food hygiene, behaviour management, child safety, special needs, every kid is a talker, equal opportunities, and diversity training have all been completed by staff.
Training needs are individually assessed and further training is provided as required.
